Cliff Wilson

Cliff Wilson graduated from the University of Memphis School of law in 1983. Cliff got a one year clerkship with the Chief Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court, the Honorable William H. D. Fones- the first Memphis graduate to serve in that position. Cliff has primarily worked defending personal injury and workers compensation claims. He has earned distinction as Lawyer of the Year in Tennessee by Bests Lawyers in 2021 in representing both employers and employees. Cliff has been selected by Bests for many years and has also been selected as a Superlawyer for many years.

Cliff was selected by the Tennessee Supreme Court to two consecutive 3 year appointments to be a panel member for the Board of Professional Responsibility.

Cliff has tried approximately 200 jury trials to verdict and many more non-jury matters. Cliff obtained his R31 qualifications as a mediator several years ago and has had a very successful practice in that area of the law

Cliff has 5 children, several grandchildren and a golden doodle named Luna. Cliff is an avid tennis player, but that is still a work in progress….
